by any chance did this ship star in pirates of the carribean? looks very familiar. a very beautiful vessel.

Noooo... no, no, no. No. Star is very much from the wrong period (whatever period it's trying to be) and the wrong type of ship for those films, though it's not like Disney would know that. The only real ships used in the pirates films were Lady Washington in the first, Bounty in the second, and Surprise in the fourth.

I don't particularly remember, but I'm pretty sure no tall ship was used in the third.
Those "ships" were built on barges. They're not actual tall ships.
